Since 1948, the
Washington, D.C. Chapter (DC LERA) has been a Capital forum for
exchanging ideas and debating economic, legal, and social issues
affecting employer and employee relations. Its programs probe
issues around labor rights, labor market trends, both domestic and
international.

The Washington, DC Labor and Employment Relations
Association (DC LERA) was the recipient of the LERA
Outstanding Chapter Award in 2004, 2006 and 2007. The
DC LERA received the LERA Star Award in 2005, one of
only two chapters to receive this award. The DC LERA
Past President Christian Weller received the LERA
Outstanding Practitioner Award in 2006.

location, the Washington Chapter draws members from an unusually
