EFCA’s Effect on Labor Negotiations

Charles Craver, Professor of Law at George Washington University Law School and nationally known labor lawyer/arbitrator, will address the potential impact of the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) on labor negotiations. Professor Craver, who was quoted in the September 12, 2009 New York Times article on Richard Trumka’s taking leadership of the AFL-CIO, is the author of Effective Legal Negotiation and Settlement and The Intelligent Negotiator. He is coauthor of Legal Negotiating and Alternative Dispute Resolution: The Advocate’s Perspective. He has taught negotiating skills to 80,000 lawyers and business people throughout the world, including China, Germany, and Mexico.

Location: Woman's National Democratic Club's historic mansion at 1526 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W. (Just northeast of Dupont Circle -Red Line Metro, Dupont Circle stop, Q Street Exit)

Cost: $25 for members with reservations, $15 for student members, $30 for non-members and non-reserved members.  If you pay online below, there is a $1 discount available.
