From a post-election
perspective following the 2008 national elections, our 60th
Anniversary DC LERA Celebration on November 20th will include distinguished
speakers who will address new policy options for the twenty-first century
world of labor and employment relations.
The conference will open
with an assessment of the current situation and the challenges facing
workers, employers, and unions as we move forward under new political
leadership. The conference will conclude with recommendations for new policy
options for labor and management in the brave new world of work.
